The bold checkerboard pattern reflects the city’s blend of tradition and modern design, while each hand-stitched square adds texture and depth. Vibrant, edgy, and unforgettable—just like Tokyo itself.

NOTE: 'tokyo sunset' is a throw size quilt, hand-stitched with Sashiko-style thread and features Sashiko machine quilting.

Materials

Our quilts are crafted from reclaimed and remnant fabrics. We use premium quilter’s cotton for the binding and backing, along with lightweight 100% cotton batting for the much-desired ‘crinkle’ texture. Every quilt blends sustainability with timeless design, made to last.

Care

• Gentle machine wash in cold water on a delicate cycle, or hand wash.

• Line dry or use a low heat setting in the dryer.

• Avoid bleach and harsh detergents.

Note: If you notice a loose thread, gently test the tension by pulling slightly. If the thread doesn’t easily come out, carefully snip it at the surface with sharp scissors. Avoid yanking or breaking the thread by hand to prevent damage.

Folding and Storage: Fold your quilt loosely to avoid creasing, and store it in a cool, dry place. Use a breathable cotton bag or pillowcase to protect the fabric. Avoid plastic storage containers, which can trap moisture and lead to mildew.
